Go to the awesome 1000 Islands Tower (formerly known as 1000 Islands Skydeck) where the view from 400 feet up inspires! See the 1000 islands on three different levels as you stand elevated halfway between Canada and the State of New York.
Grenville Park Camping and RV amenities
include clean restrooms and showers, firewood, ice, a small grocery store, game room, and much more. The huge 200 camping and RV site area is managed by a customer-centric staff.

Great staff and well kept grounds
My wife and I have been visiting Grenville Camping and RV Park for over 10 years. We were attracted to the idyllic setting along the St. Lawrence Seaway, the spacious waterfront lots, and the expansive tree foliage that offers welcome shade in the hot summer days. It is situated close to all amenities, it lies within an hour’s drive of Ottawa, and it is a good launch point for a day trip into the US.
Three years ago we took up a seasonal lot at Grenville, and we continue to enjoy the park, now as seasonal residents. The respectful and professional management keeps the Park clean, safe, and comfortable for residents and visitors alike. And while they do their best to accommodate everyone’s requests, they maintain reasonable standards, which is important to us residents. There is a large, well managed playground for kids, and two family beaches.
The park is a 40-minute drive from our home in Ottawa, and so we often host friends and family on warm, sunny afternoons. We launch our kayaks and paddleboards right off the shore along our property. Like many lots, we have a waterfront on a protected cove off the main river. Once you reach the main river, a long, thin island runs down the middle of the river, separating our shallow channel from the main navigation waterway, making this corner of the St. Lawrence an ideal place to paddle around without risk of encountering big ships or fast speedboats.
The park is a 5-minute drive from the Town of Prescott, where there is a Timmy’s, Canadian Tire, Home Hardware, and a fully stocked grocery store. We also launch excursions into the US from the Park. The Ogdensburg Bridge is visible from the Park. We cross in the morning and easily return the same day, and we look forward to our next trip once the COVID-19 border crossing restrictions ease.
In summary, our experience has shown the Grenville Park is an ideal spot for the casual visitor or seasonal resident. Very highly recommended
Beautiful setting on the St. Lawrence River. Our site faced the volleyball area and “beach” then the water was just beyond so we did not have any other RVs in front of us. 30 amp service only + water… A few over the air TV stations were available and we had cell signals from the US here.
